Hiya, I’m Hanni, nice to meet you.

I’m a freelance UX & UI Designer, currently at UbiOps working remotely from my home office in London. Since joining, I’ve built the design function from the ground up—establishing a scalable design system, launching dark mode with a 70% adoption rate, and streamlining onboarding to make deployments 10× faster. I’ve also developed complex technical tooling that boosted pipeline requests by 905%, driving greater adoption of UbiOps’ platform.

With over ten years of experience in the design industry, I pivoted from marketing to UX design in 2020. Achieving a first-class masters in User Experience Design from Falmouth University - all whilst working remotely as a UX designer for UbiOps - an on demand AI & MLOps platform based in The Netherlands.

At Each Peach Studios, I worked with clients such as DHL, McVities, Manchester United, and Givenchy—designing event apps and producing content for diverse communications. Notably, I led the design of two apps for DHL’s Americas’ Cup and Europe Cup — football and cheerleading competitions run in partnership with Manchester United.

I enjoy building products that bring communities together through collaboration, kindness and fun.

Currently I’m open to both contract & full time design roles. Available to start immediately.

Anouk Dutrée - Head of Product at UbiOps

“Hanni is an incredible UX/UI designer and I really enjoy working with her. Communication is always smooth, the quality of her work is high, and deadlines are met consistently. What I really appreciate about Hanni is her openness to feedback. Whenever we go through iterations of a design, she is always quick to implement the changes and dive into the feedback. Hanni has really helped us bring the WebApp of UbiOps to a higher level. To top it off, she is also a great team player and it is clear that other colleagues enjoy working with her just as much as I do.”

The Perfect

Raspberry Friands

Timings

Makes: 12
Prep time: 15 Minutes
Cook time: 30 Minutes
Preheat oven: 180C/160C Fan

Ingredients

100g unsalted melted butter
(plus extra for greasing the tin)
75g plain flour
(plus extra for dusting the tin) 100g ground almonds
150g icing sugar
(plus extra for dusting)
1⁄4 tsp fine sea salt
4 large egg whites
24 raspberries

Method

Ingredients

100g unsalted melted butter
(plus extra for greasing the tin)
75g plain flour
(plus extra for dusting the tin) 100g ground almonds
150g icing sugar
(plus extra for dusting)
1⁄4 tsp fine sea salt
4 large egg whites
24 raspberries

To prepare, brush the friand or muffin tin with melted butter and dust lightly with flour, shaking out any excess.

Step 1
Mix together the flour, ground almonds, icing sugar, and salt in a bowl.

Step 2

Place the egg whites in a large mixing bowl, using an electric whisk for 1/2 minutes until foamy. Sift the dry ingredients over your frothy egg whites and fold in gently until combined. Finally, pour in the melted butter and stir until fully combined.

Step 3

Spoon the batter into the tin, filling them 2/3 full. Pop a couple of raspberries on top and bake in the middle of the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden.

Step 4

Take your friands out of the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes, before lifting them out and placing them on a wire rack to cool completely. Dust them with a little icing sugar and serve.
